We stayed here on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and it was truly unforgettable. The dome was incredibly peaceful, spotless, and felt so intimate and magical. The décor was absolutely stunning it genuinely felt like we were staying at a luxury resort tucked away in nature. It was a little slice of paradise right here in Texas. This place is perfect for a romantic getaway. My wife and I completely fell in love with the experience and enjoyed every single moment together. The host was also so kind and welcoming, which made our stay even more special.

We had the most peaceful family getaway staying in the Golden Dome. It was the perfect place to unplug from the noise and reconnect with each other. We stayed with our two young kids and it was such a unique, grounding experience for all of us. The dome itself is cozy and thoughtfully designed, nestled in nature—it felt like a true retreat. We loved how quiet and still everything felt, with just the sounds of the wind and birds around us. It was the kind of space that invites you to slow down and be present. Smithville has some hidden gems too—be sure to check out cute local spots like Hope Floats Café. We left feeling refreshed and inspired, and would absolutely love to return for one of the retreats or ceremonies hosted on the land. Truly a special place.

I took my husband here as a surprise birthday getaway and it was exactly what we needed. We are extremely busy people with 4 kids. I wanted to use the weekend to relax, take time for us and to just nothing if we wanted to. The dome is pretty amazing. It’s decorated beautifully. The tub is a dream, it’s just perfect to soak your stress away. The only thing that was missing was the stars, the dome exterior material is kinda cloudy so it was hard to see but it rained while we were there and the sound was magical. Also the host are super responsive and helpful. I would recommend this place and I would come again.
